I just checked my memory against IMDB, and, yep, DMR sang this on the Ed Koch 1983 episode of Saturday Night Live.  I can dimly remember being 15 and that "comin' through" totally got to me.  And, yep, it still gets to me.  An incoherent, offkey Irish Pride anthem and I don't care and I'm telling anyone who listens.  Unlike "Eileen," it hit only #86 in the U.S., which continues to baffle me, since it's probably the hidden gem of this album.
