Not quite the day the music died, but on the other hand not exactly so bad it's good, this combines the wholesome bunch with lyrics about death and Satan and whiskey, and orchestration that would've fit in just fine on a '70s variety show, like, oh, The Brady Variety Hour. There are cash-grabs and then there are failed-to-actually-study-the-demographic-and-grab-cashes.
