Please, no excuses.  This album ranges from C- to B-, with 9 out of 14 as C+s, so it's not surprising it comes out to a C+ average.  It's not a bad album, but it is disappointing considering how talented McCartney is.  Then again, his first solo album also came out to a C+ average.  (Of course, that had "Maybe I'm Amazed" on it.)
