Actually, this isn't bad for them in the late '80s, again with a Michael-Jackson feel, with "black and white always go together" in the lyrics, although my mondegreen this time is "You're the precious July treasure."  (And now I look up Jackson's "Black or White" and discover it came out in 1991.  My point still stands that Toto sounds like they were influenced by him lyrically and otherwise.)
