So why is this probably the best song on the album and yet also embarrassing in the extreme? The characters Barbra and Barry play are a saintly princess who never did a thing wrong and yet, for a moment, got cheated on by a now thoroughly repentant hunk. This is an A+ if you play it after getting dumped (as I have more than once), but a bit simplistic in more rational moments. And the two singers would reenact the drama, and their white-clad chemistry, onstage in '86. (As well as collaborate on Guilty Pleasures, which I don't own.) But, yes, there are few more songs to go on this album.
