My Steve Miller story is that I kept liking his songs (with and without the Band) without realizing that they were by the same person/group, because the sound varied enough, to my tone-deaf ears anyway. I got this CD I want to say sometime in the late '90s, and this is a pretty good opening track, although it doesn't sound much like the songs that first drew me in.
