Another cheerful/bleak song. This debut album ranges from C to B, sitting right on the C+/B- fence of averages. If my copy were in better shape, it'd probably be a B-. Al's best songs were a few years to a few decades ahead of him, but this is not a bad place to start. (And some of this was in fact recorded earlier in the '80s.)
