What is this song? A spacy escape from the problems of the Earth? (My minor mondegreen this time is "How's the people?" instead of "house the people.") A lament, not unlike Paul Simon's "Slip Slidin' Away," that time keeps on slipping into the future and it's hard to live up to your dreams? Whatever it is, I've always liked it, even when I didn't know it was by the "Take the Money and Run" folks. (I think I thought it was by the Eagles, a la Chaka Khan and Bad Company.)
