I freely admit that my bias towards later Beatles music influences my view of the "earlier" Rutles songs. And this is better onscreen, with Eric Idle's vicious McCartneying on "Shoot me down in flames if I should tell a lie." Anyway, I think "If I Fell" is the closest match here.
