Resembling a bit the Rolling Stones' "Mother's Little Helper," this is a sarcastic, but still upbeat commentary on the Generation Gap, although using a '20s term. (And, for what it's worth, a better song than the Beatles' "She's Leaving Home.")
This uneven, schizophrenic album ranges from C to B-, and unsurprisingly averages out to a C+. I think the group had potential, and maybe later albums are more focused. Anyway, it's an interesting time capsule.
